Over the last several weeks, our one female guinea pig had been having some health problems. We took her to the vet, and he gave her some stuff to make sure she was getting her nutrients. After a long struggle, she finally died on the morning of Saturday, May 24. There has been much sadness in our house as a result. We will miss her dearly.

This is the first part of me catching up on my site. There will be several other updates to come. In April we adopted another guinea pig. She came from a rough home, and was taken in by a family here in Ellendale. They have lots of animals already, and couldn’t really afford to take care of another one, so they asked if we would like to adopt her. And so we did:
