Just bought their CD on iTunes and the quality of their music is pretty stinkin’ amazing. Kudos to Aaron Strawn and the rest of the band.

lately
I’ve been here, there, and everywhere. Back in August we went to western Montana, and camped out a couple days for our honeymoon. It was absolutely gorgeous there, and I think I have some photos around here somewhere. I’ll have to post those later. On the way back, we got a call from a hospital in Sidney. They offered me a job, but I declined it. I might be crazy, but I just didn’t feel right about the job.
School’s back in full swing, and work has been nuts. Lots of new people to explain the same old stuff to. “Here’s your password for the eightieth time, and no, you can’t change it.” Otherwise, there’s been lots of fun. We’ve got a new feature to be added to the college website soon, which is a lot of fun.
In other awesome news, Apple just released the iPod Touch, which is fantastic. I really want one. Really. I’ve never been big on mp3 players, as I had one once, and only ever used it on long road trips. It also didn’t help that it went through 4 AA batteries in 2 hours. Ouch. But this one does more than music. Of course, it does video, but it also has built-in wireless, so you can surf the net, browse Youtube, or even shop the iTunes store and buy music right to your iPod. It also has a few useful tools like a Calendar and Contacts. -
massive
We took 1.43 tons of computer parts out to the dump today. Wow. I can’t believe the three of us moved that much weight around. In other ‘massive’ news, I finished watching volume three of Invader Zim (the ‘massive’ being the flagship of the Irken empire). It was pretty good, although not quite as stellar as the first two volumes. It got pretty morbid, and not so funny anymore. There was one about Zim getting rebanished to Food Courtia. That was pretty funny. The Christmas one was a little dark, but among the better episodes. Zim Eats Waffles wasn’t quite as good the second time around, but Tak was stellar in her own evil little way. The one’s that focused on Dib tended to just go on and on and on and on…well, you get the point. He’s always out to prove Zim is an alien, and he always loses, horribly. That plot only works so many times.

game night
April is recovering nicely from it’s ‘e’ mishap (see Aprile 29). Game night was huge, if you weren’t there, you missed out. We had a total of 19 people play on Friday night, and went just past 4 AM. Psychostats2 has been forsaken because it makes no sense, and puts in random numbers. So HLStats has taken it’s place, which is cool, because it does the stats in realtime.
CS 1.5 will be running for the remainder of this week, and all of next week. So if you feel yourself getting stressed out by finals, go take a break, and bust a cap on some foos. -
site of the day
Today’s official site of the day is explodingdog.com
I didn’t misspell the date, I just switched it when the ICS wasn’t looking (International Calendar Society)…
So the really big news is that there will be no more April, we will only have Arpil from this day forward. I like it.
