Two posts in one day. Technically, no. But it is two posts in under twelve hours. When’s the last time you saw that? Huh? Huh? Yeah, I can’t remember either. To the point then: I was catching up on some news…the Planet Gnome sort. Someone mentioned that they had given in, and created a myspace profile. For the record (and those who don’t already know): I hate myspace. I was about ready to fly into a blind rage, and delete my profile, until I got there, and saw some friend requests, and new messages and such. Jon posted 2 comments, and I’d like to take a moment to say, “I miss you guys too”.
Many of you know that we (Amanda & I) were supposed to be taking charge of a project at our church known as the ‘Dreamcenter’. It didn’t work out so well (I’ll not go into details, because I still have a shred of respect for the parties involved). In the end, we thought it best to leave New Life (our church), if not forever, at least for a time. We were also burned-out, and needed to recuperate. We are now attending Jamestown First A/G, and enjoying more time with family, especially my Grandma. The hardest part of all this has been leaving the youth of N.L. I just want every one of you to know that we love you, and miss you terribly. We see you around town, and our hearts break because we can’t be as much a part of your lives as we want to be. Our consolation is that you still have Justin & Jennifer, who are amazing youth pastors.
In the words of a great movie, “I hope to see you again little Chancho. Maybe in the next life.”
