This week was a busy one, and in the middle of it all, I killed a bee in the computer lab. It was probably more of a wasp or something, but then it wouldn’t fit in with my title. We’ve been installing new software at work, and getting trained on that which gets a moderate-high on the exciting scale.
Amanda and I are making progress on the house, albeit slow. The bathroom has one coat of white on it, and needs at least one more. The ‘Spare Oom’ is finished, and my computer is resting in its new home. The closet needs another coat, and the hallway is done. Pictures will be forthcoming after this weekend hopefully.
I gave cygwin another try. For anyone who loves the linux command line, but is forced to use Windows, here is your answer.
Also, an update on DREAM3. I had previously mentioned them for churches that needed someone to do web hosting and/or design for them. Apparently, they are giving up the gig, and moving people to another service. Enter Elexio. They seem to have a rather broad range of solutions, from logo design, to content management, and hosting. If you are in need of some help with a website, give them a try. If you know how to do your own design, check out dreamhost. Use the code SHANE90 if you want to save $90 on your first year.
